It is well known that, in the traditional construction sector, the problem of a lack of generational turnover is here to stay, with industrialisation being the only opportunity to transform it for good.
It is not enough to move some operations from the site to a factory. Industrialising means transforming the business model: designing for manufacture, assembly and disassembly, controlling processes, reducing uncertainty, manufacturing with repeatable quality, shortening deadlines, improving working conditions and reducing the environmental impact associated with traditional construction.
Ekonsteam was born to contribute to this transformation with a different approach.
We have developed EKONS SYSTEM, a 3D modular industrial system protected by patents, capable of achieving more than 90% factory completion.
But our proposal does not consist solely of having a technology.
It consists of making it scalable.
Ekonsteam is a technology company that licences its system to generate a distributed network of industrial capacity, bringing factories closer to the markets where demand exists.
Instead of transporting industrial construction products over long distances, we want to transfer technology, knowledge and production capacity to our clients’ production plants.
Our business proposal guarantees that a client will have an operational industrial plant within a period of no more than nine months from the signing of the licence, with reduced CAPEX, and with digital support for the Ekons System®, based on LEAN technology.
And a licence, on its own, does not guarantee success.
That is why our model incorporates three levels of support:
- Opening. We design and support the implementation of the factory until it is ready to produce and assemble the buildings.
- Co-management. During the first two years, we work alongside the management team of the new production plant to transfer the experience accumulated in the actual operation of EKONS SYSTEM factories.
- Project-based services. Each building is conceived to be manufactured, assembled and, at the end of its life cycle, disassembled. Using our own digital tools, we previously simulate its manufacture, anticipate resources and risks and, during production, we continuously compare the forecast with what is actually happening.
We do not start from a hypothesis.
Our technology has already been manufactured and used in real projects through our first licensee, JIT HOUSING.
And a new stage begins now.
Modul-A by Ruesma, the second licensee of EKONS SYSTEM, has an industrial facility in Arroyomolinos, Madrid, with two assembly lines and a growth plan based on the development of new production capacities wherever demand justifies them, nationwide.
The expansion is global.
